Vernacular Act - Vernacular Act was the act through which the British government got extensive rights to censor reports and editorials in the vernacular languages. It was createsd in 1878 to curtail the freedom of the Indian press.

Satyagraha - Satyagraha is a non-violent method used by Mhandas Karamchand Gandhi against the oppressor.
Khilafat Movement - Khilafat Movement was a moovement by Indian Muslims allied with Indian Nationalists, led by the famous Ali brothers named Mohammad Ali and Shaukat Ali to protest against the injustice done to Turkey after World War I.
Non-cooperation Movement - Non-cooperation Movement was launched by Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi in 1920. Its aims were to show the resentment to actions considered oppresssive like Jallianwala Bagh and Rowlatt Act.
Gandhi-Irwin Pact - Gandhi-Irwin Pact was an agreement signed in March 1931 under which the CIvil Disobedience Movement was called off.
Dandi March - Gandhiji, along with 78 of his followers, startrd from his Ashram at Sabarmati to Dandi on the sea coast on foot, and broke the salt law by making salt. So, this was known as Dandi March.
Poona Pact - Poona Pact was a pact which was signed between Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi and Dr. B. R. Ambedkar. The Pact gave the depressed classes reserved seats in provincial and central legislative councils.
Nationalism - Nationalism involves a strong identification of a group of individuals with a political entity defined in national terms, i.e. a nation. A sense of national consciousness, exalting one nation above all others and placing emphasis on its development and prosperity.
Colonisation - Colonisatioin is the action or process of setting among and establishing control over the indigenous people of an area.
